At Bay Area Kids Dentistry in Blossom Hill, we specialize in Pediatric Dentistry and offer a wide range of dental services for preventative care and treatment of your child. Some of these services include those that may be needed to restore function or improve your child’s appearance, relieve pain, or treat an infection.
We also offer sedation dentistry for those children who may need it. We provide a warm, welcoming environment to help reduce anxiety and make dentistry fun for your little one.
Dr. Subramanian, often addressed as Dr. Su, was trained in pediatric dentistry specialization at the Children’s Hospital at Boston, Harvard Dental School and Louisiana State University. She is one of the few pediatric dentists to be certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a distinguished honor for achieving the highest possible credentials within the field of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Su holds a Master’s in Biomaterials from SUNY Buffalo, which helps her in carefully choosing materials best suited for children. She is also certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Su currently practices as a pediatric dentist at Bay Area Kids Dentistry in Blossom Hill.
Dr. Chiaven Phen earned her doctorate of dental surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry in 2003. She also obtained advanced training for two years following the completion of her dental program at Metrohealth Hospital in Ohio, specializing in Hospital Dentistry for children. Her focus during these two years was on children with special needs, both medically and behaviorally. Since then Dr. Phen has been practicing pediatric dentistry in California and Nevada. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Santa Clara Dental Society.
Dr. Phen is Chinese by origin and grew up in a family of dentists. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping herself busy with her two energetic young kids. Her motto is “Educating patients about early oral health is the key to healthy teeth and happy smiling kids.”
Her interests also include providing early growth therapy, which minimizes the need for extensive orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Keerthi Golla earned her B.A from the University of Pennsylvania and got her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She completed a residency in general dentistry at University of Illinois at Chicago then went on to complete her Pediatric Dentistry residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Golla is a Diplomate member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Golla is currently one of our pediatric dentists. During her free time, she enjoys going out with her family and friends to parks, museums, watching movies, reading books, as well as experimenting with new recipes.
One of her and her husband’s favorite pass times is having board game nights with family and friends, Cranium is currently the household favorite. Dr. Golla is truly looking forward to meeting your family, having the privilege to care your children and creating a fun, friendly dental home for them.
